Remember Their Courage
There are those who appear
in the times we cherish
with courage that shins
through our fears.
They are bold in body
and strong of heart.
With minds that never waver
from their chosen path.
They are free of will, and fleet of foot
trying always to protect those
who fight with their fears.
They appear unbreakable
but are in fact, quit fragile
when dealing with those
close to the heart.
And when one dies,
many hearts are broken.
For the loss of one
brave and strong.
His companions, wander aimlessly
while they try to deal with their sorrows.
But in the end it turns out alright,
for another shall come into being.
You’ll meet one some day
I can’t tell you when
but it will happen to you
and when that day comes
just follow your heart,
your mind and your soul
and remember, their signs of courage.
