Chaos. Madness. Insanity.
And so, through turmoil, everything is brought into existance. A force so destructive that it backfires upon itself, and created life. Echoes of the “Big Bang,” as it is called by Mankind, still ring throughout the universe.

There our infinite galaxies in our universe. In each galaxy, millions of solar systems. On the far side of a spiral galaxy’s arm, a solar system resides that hosts a planet. Of course, there are other planets in that solar system, but this one holds life. This one holds creatures. This one, is Earth.
¤
Earth was created by chaos. Chaos that formed the flying mass into a ball; sent it hurtling around a sun in its orbit. As another clump of mass was drawn in by the gravitational pull of the sun, it collided with Earth.
On small chunk of the knocked-aside mass was drawn into Earth’s gravity, and so began its eternal orbit around the small planet. The other, a slightly large half of the original planet, was thrown off into space and sucked into a voidless black hole.
But, as Earth had only just settled before this disatrouse event happened, even as the oter half of the planet was seemingly destroyed, the spiritual bond Earth had formed with all of its components was never severed.
And so, in another dimension, the other world lived on.

As Earth progressed through the millenia, creatures appeared, and evolved.
On the other planet, the same creatures appeared, and the same creatures evolved.
And as the creatures began showing signs of intelligence, each progressed through the same ages.
All this was the result of the bond.
And as the spirit of the bond strengthened, a new creature was born. To protect the sister planets. A creature of fire. Of water. Of earth. Of air. Of magick.
A creature that could travel, through the bond, to each world.
A dragon.

As dragons aged, they made an alliance with the creatures of both worlds. The dragons helped create more of the technology spawned by the ‘dominant’ species of the planet at that time, the humans. Man was constantly inventing things. Inventing religion, lifestyle, manners, and all the like. But the dragons had knowledge of the True Gods. But ignorant, arrogant man did not accept the dragon’s wisdom. And so the dragons foresaw war.
Civil wars between men forged of anger, hate, and prejudice of the gods Mankind created. They told Man of this prophecy.
On Earth, man did not accept the idea and banished the dragons.
On the other world, man understood this and threw aside their technology. Threw aside their false religions. Accepted the True Gods.
But though they were exhiled, Dragonkind still had to protect Earth.
And so every dozen centuries, a messenger is sent to Earth to teach of the True Gods, and the True Ways.

On the other world, during the birth of a new man, sometimes another soul would merge with the newborn. The resulting organism would have access to both forms. He would be a were. A Changeling.
While most of these Duelsouls reside on the other world, there are a handful on Earth. Usually these occur in a similar area every dozen or so years, and coincidentally the Changlings are drawn together in a circle of friends, unbeknownst until they reach the correct age, where there second soul is Awakened.

The year is 2009. Each around the age of 18, two Dragonsouls are drawn together. Another one lies just outside their friendship as it is of the opposite gender. Each nears Awakening.
Torn asunder by war, it is time for a new dawn in Otherworld.
