The third and final book in the Chronicles series by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman, Dragons of Spring Dawning, was in many ways my favorite of the three. As you might expect, lots of loose ends were tied up and the book set up the Legends series (next trilogy in the Dragonlance story) very nicely.
Once again, the story revolves around the companions of Solace who are battling the Dark Queen, Takhisis. Gods have returned to Krynn and are playing a deadly game of chess with the companions as the pawns.
All of our favorite characters from the previous 2 books are back and more of the backstory of the Cataclysm, the fight for balance between the gods of good, evil and neutrality and a growing conflict between the twins Caramon and Rasitlin.

There were lots of fight scenes, including the appearance of the self-exiled dragons of good.
