Ballad of the Dragons
A favorite of the Kireth bards, this ballad telling of dragons is ancient. It is said to have described the Great Goddess dragon, Tiamat, who created the skies with her breath and the earth with her body.
Gold’n scales ‘gainst cerulean skies
Ageless intelligence hidden ‘midst crimson eyes
Wings o’ red an’ heart o’ gold
Teller o’ the tales untold
Mysique weavings ‘ave transformed
Dreams o’ flight to take a form
Wings o’ red an’ heart o’ gold
Teller o’ the tales untold
Creator o’ the starry veil
Winds tha’ whisper secret tales
Wings o’ red an’ heart o’ gold
Teller o’ the tales untold
Wings ‘o red an’ heart o’ gold
Teller o’ the tales untold
