A World Torn Away from Me
Moving through the skies,
Hearing the wind rush past my face,
Still clinging to my lies,
I never wanted to know the truth!
Just leave me to my kingdoms bold,
Let me hang onto fantisies unchecked,
Be sent away with true knowledge,
for I ne’er want to see beyond scales
It had to happen one day,
Though I hoped it never would,
I had to surrender this day,
Though I thought I was stronger
I now see past the faded stonework
of the keep I’ve kept my mind in,
I now know what the real world is,
so take me into your comforting arms
Let me know I’m not alone,
Make me so that I’m not scared,
Let me know you’re here with me,
Make me feel your beating heart
Don’t let me go, like I let my dreams,
Just take me back to our castle,
back to our fantastic silver oblivion,
an let us dream our dreams again
